The Elijah Minyan’s Jewish Meditation Chavurah — now entering its 19th year — is an ever-popular group focusing on the practice of Jewish meditation.
Calling on the works of Rabbi Aryeh Kaplan zt"l, Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach zt"l, Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi, Rabbi David Cooper, Rabbi David Zeller zt"l, our own Rabbi Wayne Dosick, our own Meditation guide, Dr. Burt Bialik, and others, the Chavurah utilizes songs, chants, stories, visualizations, Jewish mantras, meditations, and the mystical Kabbalah for spiritual healing, uplift, and growth.
The Meditation Chavurah meets once a month — on Shabbat morning or afternoon, and, occasionally on Sunday or Erev Shabbat - Friday evening — and is followed by a pot-luck lunch or supper.
Participation in The Elijah Minyan’s Jewish Meditation Chavurah deepens your experience of being Jewish, being Human, and being connected to all of Life, and supports your spiritual growth in a community of caring and loving friends. The Jewish Meditation Chavurah is guided by Dr, Burt Bialik.
